No. No, You Don’t.

So ‘Point Break’ is on and it’s mindless entertainment. Then the Patrick Swazey character utters these lines:

“This was never about money for us. lt was about us against the system. That system that kills the human spirit. We stand for something. To those dead souls inching along the freeways in their metal coffins, we show them that the human spirit is still alive.”

Now, I’m an ex-adrenaline junkie and I get the whole extreme sport thing. Jumping out of a perfectly good airplane is awesome. Climbing high things is awesome.

That quote irks me.

Annals of Improbable Research, Here I Come!

If there ever was a study better suited to the Annals of Improbable Research, it’s this one.

“WHEN ZOMBIES ATTACK!: MATHEMATICAL MODELLING OF AN OUTBREAK OF ZOMBIE INFECTION”

Science-Themed Tattoos

There are some very cool tats here.

Some Fella’s I Know Rolling in NYC

Striking grappling submitting-ey goodness.

Last year’s Mega-TD.

Good stuff.

30+ People With Guns Spotted in Local Restaurant!!!

And not a single person gets shot.

I’m not buying it – I’ve been told repeatedly that people carrying guns openly in public leads to panic, criminals disarming and shooting the gun owner, and mass hysteria. It’s clearly the NRA propaganda machine at work.

I Have Seen the Future, and It Is…

Bullet-proof casual clothing?

Admittedly, they ARE based out of Colombia and the US rep is based in Miami, so I suppose it makes sense. No idea on pricing but I intend to keep an eye out.

H/T to the guys at Bullshido for this one.
